Hello! My name is Rose B. and I am a professional musician currently living in Brooklyn, NY. I believe that music is an innate language that can be tapped into at any age, and that music education should be accessible to everyone. As a performer, my career spans DIY rock and punk to high-concept performance art, performing on three continents and at spaces like the Guggenheim Museum, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and Kino Saito. I have collaborated with musicians, visual artists, dancers and filmmakers, have written and recorded music, and have opened for artists including Vapors of Morphine. I am a member Bruce Springsteen's band The Night Shift, playing bass. I also play bass in the band Big Bliss. As a teacher, I love to help students find their musical voice through bass and/or guitar. I specialize in teaching beginner-to-intermediate students, and can also act as a personal songwriting coach to help students develop their craft.
