I am a tutor and founder of Facebook group, American Sign Language (ASL) Enthusiasts. ASL is my native language because I was born deaf and born to deaf parents. My siblings and one of my children are also deaf. I attended Louisiana State School for the Deaf from 2nd grade to 8th grade. When I wasn't attending LSD I mainstreamed in public school with interpreters. Because of my deaf parents I was able to communicate in ASL fluidly and fluently at a very early age. As you can see there is no doubt that I am qualified to be an basic ASL tutor. I say basic only because I cannot provide official certificates. I am only a home tutor but a great one nonetheless.
