Hi, I'm Ronn. I have lived in New York City for years working Off-Broadway, and now travel back and forth consistently between NYC and OKC, and also teach in Los Angeles regularly. I always start with a strong Classical Foundation, and also specialize in Musical Theatre and Contemporary Styles. Some students love classical music, and we work on Italian arias...while others love 80s Metal Bands, and we work on healthy ways to approach contemporary music.  I value technique, and students learning technique in their own bodies, so they're able to excel on their own after our work together.

Hi, I'm Ronn. An Oklahoma native who moved to New York City,  I now split my time between NYC and OKC (and travel regularly to Los Angeles as well) working as an actor, singer, director, and teacher. Credits include national television, independent film (Soho International Film Festival Official Selection), New York concert stage (Carnegie Hall concerts with Kelli O'Hara and Stephen Sondheim) and Off-Broadway theatre. Oklahoma Theatre credits include appearances with Lyric Theatre, CityRep, Reduxion Theatre, Carpenter Square, and Sooner Theatre. BFA in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah Conservatory. Proud member of Actors Equity.

I have been a student of Ronn’s for the past two years, and of all the teachers I have had, he is one of my absolute favorites and most recommended! Ronn has helped me grow so much with my confidence in my voice and always pushes me beyond my comfort zone, which I am very thankful for. He is an excellent communicator and very understanding, and always provides a safe place for me to make (vocal) mistakes. Not only does he help me in voice training, but he helps me in telling the story of each song I receive.

Although, I only take vocals with Ronn currently, I have taken a few of his acting/film seminars, and they are very informative and have helped me a lot in learning about film and acting on-camera.

I highly recommend taking from Ronn, whether it be acting or singing! I have grown so much as his student, and he is wonderful to work with!

My 14 year old daughter has taken private voice lessons from Ronn for a couple of years! She loves going and she is disappointed when she has to miss. He has introduced her to many different styles of music and helped her put together a port folio  of music for auditions.

Both of my children have been taught by Ronn. What he brings to the table is invaluable. He has taught them acting, on screen acting, and helped in voice.  The kids have also had the privelage of being directed by Ronn in various projects.   They both showed so much growth and confidence from his teachings.  I highly recommend Ronn Burton!

Ronn is amazing!  My son has worked with him in both acting and on camera acting.  Ronn is knowledgeable and professional.  He taught my son techniques he can use on stage for the rest of his career.  We are so thankful for him- and totally recommend him for both acting and on camera acting as well as voice!!

Ronn has taught my daughter vocals for a couple years!! He's phenomenal!! She has grown so much in confidence and vocal control. He works really close with her during auditions and helps her so much with not only vocals, but also the acting.  He's easy to work with and communicates well! I highly recommend him for acting and vocals!

My daughter has been taking lessons with Ronn for over two years. He makes the lessons fun and she has learned so much. Together they pick relevant and vocally appropriate songs.
