    About Roni W.

Hello future students! I’m Roni Worcester, and I teach cello, violin, viola, bass, ukulele, guitar, piano, and mountain dulcimer. My stage name is String Queen Roni, because I can play just about any stringed instrument. I grew up in Kansas and moved to Florida two years ago to become a scuba diving instructor. I have played in symphonies, duets, quartets, and other groups that primarily play orchestral music. Classical music wasn’t all I did, though. I went on tours with different bands of all sorts of genres like country, bluegrass, jazz, rock, metal, alternative, and more. When you take lessons with me, you will learn the fundamental skills involved in playing any instrument, and you will also learn what you want to learn! If you want to write your own songs, I can teach you improvisation and composition. If you want to read music, you’ll learn music theory. If you want to learn how to play your favorite song, we will practice ear-training exercises. Never give up on your musical dreams. “Keep dreaming, child, the wind will never cease. Dreams become less wild when locked up like a beast.” - Lyrics from Roni’s original song The Message
