I travel to students' homes and also give lessons in my studio in Maynard, MA. I have worked with children with disabilities and created personalized music and movement sessions for some of these children.
I have an eclectic approach to teaching and seek input from parents regarding the course of study and expected results. I encourage parents to be involved with their child's/children's musical education. This includes encouraging children to practice, letting children listend to musical links I send the parents, using flashcards when appropriate, and assisting in any other circumstances when their help would make a difference.
