Colorado Christian Fellowship

• Train young adults and adults in the art of acting in a church setting. • Overseer of a group of 15 children and adults. • Facilitate workshops the 1st and 3rd of every month. Use techniques such as improvisations, cold reading, scene study, commercial reading, acting games and exercises. • Write, direct and produce plays for the church. Allow students to audition for roles in all productions. • Travel to other churches to perform plays. • Delegate assignments and positions to cast such as stage managers, makeup artists, and work closely with the media department for lighting needs for all productions. • Use church budget for production needs such as costumes and props. Create fliers for promotion of all productions. Facilities cast parties for cast members, friends and families.

Wilson Group Center

• Provided daily meals for the youth in the home. Authorize daily chores, and documented who perform there chores. Rewarded those who performed chore duties. • Documented negative behaviors and implanted replacement behaviors to get need met. Worked closely with Social workers, Group Home Overseer, and parents of young adults. • Planned trips and outings for the youth. Taught social skills, team work, and how to interact with others. • Planned behavior goals by reviewing case files, and set up strategies for young adults to properly deal with anger, sadness and disappointments. • Documented daily activities. Debrief daily with Group Home Overseer. In charge of giving out rewards to the youth such as, allowances, gift cards, and other rewards for positive behavior. • Help build self-esteem and confidence by teaching acting skills to young adults. Helped the young adults become creative by using acting techniques such as improvisation, acting games and exercises.

Switzer Learning Center

• Worked with children with emotional, physical and mental disabilities in a classroom and group home setting. • Analyzed and documented the negative behavior of students, and substitute negative behavior with positive behavior by rewarding positive behavior and using verbal affirmations to students. Enforce consequences for negative behaviors. • Worked closely with students and parents to encourage a support system for students. Provided academic support for students, and taught students social skills and how to interact with teachers, parents, and other classmates. • Worked one on one with students and documented growth and improvement of student’s behavior. Promoted sports and other social activities. • Work closely with the Dean, Principal, and Case Workers of students on academic and behavior goals, case files, and targeted behaviors. • Help build self-esteem and confidence by teaching acting skills to young adults. Helped the young adults become creative by using acting techniques such as improvisation, acting games and exercises.

Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services
