Roger is an incredibly gifted guitarist, musician and teacher!!! His excitement and passion about music and playing guitar is infectious; I would be nowhere in my guitar journey without him. He will not only teach you technical skills, but also how to be a better music listener (train your ear) and introduce you to the amazing world of jazz guitar. He is a super chill, flexible + knowledgeable teacher (and also an incredible performer). You should catch his live shows too if you can! I learn a lot even just from watching him play.

Roger is a patient, empathetic, and helpful instructor who’s passionate about music. You could tell he absolutely loves what he does and this translates so well to his teaching and sharing knowledge of Jazz with you! I’ve watched him perform live and it was wonderful. He also have me pointers to who to listen to for more exposure to Jazz and which local venues to check out, etc. On top of this, Roger also has a good sense of humor and is perceptive to what you need. Highly recommend!
