Coming from a musical family started singing and playing the guitar by himself at 13 years old becoming the artistic student who performs here and there on every school event. On his 20s started studying the Classical Guitar technique back from cero. He made the elementary and intermediate level in a flash time able to in a year get to be on intermediate level and wining a First Price in a intermediate-level performance competition. In a few years competed again and obtained a single position at the University of Arts in La Habana for out of age students and graduating with Honors four after. Rogelio studied under the supervision of Barima Gort (Elementary and Intermediate levels) Eduardo Martin and Jesus Ortega (Preparation for University admission) and Master Martin Pedreira, author of The book, "Ergonomia de la Guitarra", which is one of the the deepest investigational works about Classical Guitar's technique. Has some guitar and popular music compositions as well been recorded for notables Cuban singers as Leo Vera and Mayra Caridad Valdes. Was part of the Cuban Guitars Orchestra "Sonantas Habaneras", under the conduction of Dr. Jesus Ortega. On the vocal field performed as vocal Bass on the Cuban Vocal Group "Novel Voz" from 2007 to 2016 performing in scenarios of Canada, Spain, and France. During all this years has got several students of all ages and enjoys to teach all he knows.
