When it comes to my teaching, I focus on creating unique lessons that fit my individual students' needs - whether they are looking to pursue a career in music or treating music as a hobby, I make sure to establish a solid foundation as well as give my students the tools they need to succeed in the way that they desire.
In my lessons, I focus on musicality and technique while also incorporating sheet music comprehension. I am comfortable researching and teaching any genre of music you wish to learn.
Note for parents:
If your child is enrolled in a school with a music program, I specialize in helping students prepare for orchestra seating auditions (within their school and also local youth orchestras), recital preparation, college music auditions, and more.

Rochelle helped me get reacquainted with the cello after a 22 year hiatus. She is patient and focuses on tone and technique. Her musical knowledge is apparent as she structures her lessons around skill sets that are in need of fine tuning. Her ability to pick up on these skills sets is what makes her a great teacher.
