"Turtle." It was the first sign I learned as a kid, and it stuck with me. From that time forward, I wanted to learn American Sign Language. I didn't have the opportunity until I reached college, where I dove head first into the world of ASL and the Deaf community. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education with certifications in Deaf Education and Elementary Education. I have been a Teacher for the Deaf since graduating college in 2014. I have a passion for the language and the culture. I want to share that passion with you! We will start wherever you are and with whatever you want to learn! If you're just starting out, we will start by learning the alphabet and numbers, along with some of the grammatical rules of American Sign Language. We will quickly develop a working vocabulary, and you'll be having silent conversations before you know it! I am available to teach online. Hope to see you soon!

My first experience with an ASL instructor. She's really nice, charismatic, and works at the pace of the student. Just based on the first lesson I would recommend to a friend!

I had a successful class. I was able to understand most of the signs. That was improvement for me. Robyn had patience and that helped.
