I have 26 years public teacher experience in vocal and instrumental music having taught in a high school in NJ.  It is summer and I am looking for some extra hours/money.  I am a two time "Teacher of the Year" (2000 & 2021). I have expertise and experience teaching a variety of styles (musical theatre, classical, jazz).  My students are enrolled in top college/universities across the nation.  Past students have been featured on tv, film, touring groups, etc

I can teach all woodwind and brass instruments, piano, vocal music.  I can teach improvisation, piano comping, music theory, composition, coach audio engineering and recording.

I have 26 years of experience as a public school music teacher, grades 9-12 teaching instrumental and vocal music. I teach at a NJ high school, just outside NYC, servicing a multicultural population of students from varying socioeconomic backgrounds. I strongly believe that the arts can instill positive change, transform, inspire, and change lives.  

I can tailor my teaching to your needs, technique, repertoire, style, and improvisation.  I have expertise and experience in all musical styles.  My students have gone on to be professional musicians and study at our nation's best colleges/universities.
