I have 40 years of experience playing piano with a degree in music from Williams College. Living in New York City for 30 years in the Flatiron District I love to bring the joy of playing to students who are eager to learn and maintain an open mind. The art of being able to play an instrument leads to so many wonderful things in life. It is a language unto itself and has benefits far beyond the mere making of music. Improves communication, accelerates brain development in younger students and improves clarity for older students. I am a fashion designer by day and perform in the evening with classical and popular music ensembles. I live in a very convenient location with my wife and dog (a weimaraner) at the loft where I teach piano.
