I did teach at my own school in Curacao and Groningen, The Netherlands

I started teaching Spanish to adults in my own school in Curacao, in the Dutch Caribbean, and in Groningen, The Netherlands. And since 1997 in the USA. My students were adult professionals, business owners, nurses, Dutch citizens, American citizens, Dominican Republic citizens. Business owners needed Spanish to sell their products to then wealthy Venezuelans. American citizens did learn to travel, the same for most Dutch citizens. At that time I used my own short stories too, which I still do with my 6-8 yr. old students now, in addition to the stories they like, because if you bore a child, you loose him/her! Conversational skills were and are still my most important goal with mastery of Spanish verbs and tenses. We never used the books just to learn "book language." We talked all the time. My students learn to speak Spanish from lesson one. I started teaching online since October 2018 and I love it because of the one-on-one attention I can give to every and each one of my students!

Fort Bend Christian Academy

I did teach French for 10th, 11th and 12th graders at this Christian High School. It was a great experience because the students dedication was outstanding, and because the school allowed me to use my own method. My students loved the story of Le Petit Prince, which I used at all my classes to motivate them and to have the same curiosity as the little prince himself to learn French. It was always a success.
