Robert is an amazing teacher and friend. He is patient in his teaching and because of his extensive experience in the music world, he could teach me musical concepts from different angles which allowed me to have deeper grasps of them. He gave me a lot of encouragement and advice about how to get over the fear of performing in front of people, which I know that many of us also have. There was never a boring lesson with Robert! They were always fun, full of laughter and joy, whilst learning music. I highly recommend his classes.

Robert was a great influence and teacher for our son. We were with Robert for five years, until our son went to college for jazz performance. Robert taught our son beginner electric and upright bass, music theory and technique, how to solo, and advanced theory and performance techniques. Robert also helped our son prepare for his school jazz auditions. Robert was always supportive of our son’s efforts and catered the lessons to his interests and needs. Our son always looked forward to his lessons with Robert. We are forever grateful for Robert’s musical influence on our son!
