Upgrade your Ear Training skills in fun and interactive ways!
As a Juilliard-trained musician, I love how training my listening helped open up a whole new world of musicianship. Working together, I hope to open that up to you too! We will design a curriculum that is based on your needs, experience, and interest. No matter what experience level you are, we'll work on three main areas: melody, harmony, and rhythm.
I love using pop music and interactive tools as a way to learn Ear Training; if you are also studying an instrument, we will absolutely work with it as well. I hope that we can work together to take your musicianship to a new level!

About Robert F.
I'm a pianist and composer whose recently made my debut in Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall in October 2021. I love coming up with creative programming and unique ways to present the piano, and I've performed, he has made appearances in 25 US states and 17 countries worldwide. I graduated from the Juilliard School with my Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
As a teacher, I've worked in many settings, with students of all ages and experience levels! For six years I was an educator with the New York Philharmonic, coming up with creative and collaborative lessons for elementary school students. I've taught Musical Theatre at the Sitka Fine Arts Camp and START Osceola, and I also have worked as a private piano teacher online and in person for over ten years.
I love the possibilities and gateways that music education can offer, and I am committed to communicating with my students to find the learning styles and ideas that work best for them.
I perform mostly as a classical pianist, but I'm passionate about experimental music as well. I recently recorded an album, titled "leaving a room", which features new works by young composers from around the world. I also have written and produced electronic music, and I can teach basic skills in Logic, Sibelius, Audacity, and Garageband.
I'm excited to get to know you and find out what excites you! Let's work together!
