I love to teach. I have a talent for teaching piano, guitar and bass lessons since I was in high school. For the last few years I was the Choir Director and taught guitar and piano in Folsom Public Schools. I teach each student as an individual, providing a mixture of the favorite, theory and ear training. I make theory easy to understand, and players understand what they are doing. Introductory students start by learning to play songs with "hidden lessons While playing, the student easily learns a great deal about music and guitar simply by playing songs. Throughout my research, I was intrigued and researched the concept of "Talent It turns out a"Talent" was a Roman Coin, and when you had enough "Talents" you could do anything. At music college I had Ear Training and realized that should have been part of my early studies! It would have made music e Talents include a sense of pitch and rhythm and I teach it. With younger children I make up games on ear training. When you get down to it, it's all about playing with beauty and feeling. How you practice is how you'll play.
