I taught most of the core subjects at the High School level and Math at the middle school level. Focused on crafting lesson plans that met the individual goals while also aligning with the state standards. Heavy emphasis on progress and development, along with teaching the students to self monitor and make adjustments on their own.

US Naval Air Technical Training Institute

Intensive 6 month program ( 30 hours in class a week) that focused on air craft electronics for the US Marine Corps. This laid a solid foundation in troubleshooting that I have used ever since in solving problems and figuring out complicated puzzles. Learning music is very similar in that many pieces have to be broken down and this requires patience and puzzle solving skills :)

The projects mission is to intervene in the lives of at-risk boys, young men at-promise for sucess, in order to provide them with alternatives that will lead them away from lives of crime and violence or marginalization. The 5000 Role Models of Excellence Projust is dedicated to matching young men with adult Role Models who are trained to lead them through carefully charted paths through grades K-12 and college or ensuring the attainment of other post-secondary credentials and increasing their employability in higher wage, high skills, jobs within high demand industries.
