My lessons are uniquely tailored to each student's goals, while rooted in brass fundamentals (air, time, technique). I ask upfront what short term and long term goals you may have, then build a personal practice routine to achieve those goals and set new ones. 

I make my living performing a wide range of styles, such as funk & soul, big band jazz, top 40s hits & pop music, musical theater work, and more.

I am a professional trombonist with a degree from Berklee College of Music, accomplished in a wide range of styles such as funk & soul, big band jazz, top 40s hits & pop music, musical theater work, and more. I've performed at venues such as the House of Blues Boston, Brooklyn Bowl, and the Paradise Rock Club.

The thing I love most about playing trombone is the ability to express myself in a way my voice cannot; from low & lush to bright & brassy, the trombone can sing in many registers and paint with a broad palette.
