I recently moved to LA from New Zealand and am a dual US/NZ citizen. I was educated in New Zealand and obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Otago majoring in Chemistry as well as Microbiology and Immunology. I also have a Diploma in German Language from the same university and took a number of mathematics courses during my degree.
I play violin and saxophone, with a particular focus on improvised music and I have a background in the Suzuki method. I also make ink graphic designs, make comics and screenprint t-shirts in my spare time.
I love teaching people and have spent a lot of my life tutoring and helping people from a large variety of age groups, and have had previous employment teaching Chemistry at a tertiary level.
I am a patient and kind teacher, and am very willing to try multiple approaches and take all the time that is needed to explore difficult concepts.
I have previous tutoring experience in Violin, Math, Science, Chemistry, German and English
