Here at TakeLessons, your goal is to learn what is relevant and important to you and your projects. My job is to distill my experience to teach you that. If you are over 40 years old, then I am the instructor for you! You will find me to be a teacher, guide, coach, mentor, web builder, a domain registrar, and a web hosting re-seller. I like to use analogies, and they work best with an over-40 audience. Many millennials today have never seen a dimmer switch on a car floor or carried a digital pager. It is OK if you want to start on Page 1 Chapter 1 because that gives us a common vocabulary to start with. It is also OK if you want to skip ahead because you are already past that. I will build a personalized curriculum/lesson plan tailored to questions you submit. We will work together online, with me "looking" over your shoulder as you drive your keyboard. We can also maintain follow-up contact by phone and email. _____ An oft-repeated phrase is "Been There, Done That." Those words describe my nearly 30 years of experience with computers, computer programs, websites and on the Internet ~~~ this section is about how "my experience" can serve you. I created my first website over 25 years ago. In the 1990's, I hosted websites and email from servers in my basement. (That means I'm good at trouble-shooting and putting out fires!) From that first day, decades ago, I have been doing AND teaching. I have taught one-on-one, taught small groups of 5-20, and addressed a full auditorium. I was an adjunct instructor for MS Office products at a community college. When I complete chapter three of something then I'm prepared to share what I've learned in chapter one! I am available for all things computer: at home, at work, on your local network and on the Internet. PS: At the end of the last century I was assembling computers by hand, but don't tell anyone. They will want to use my trouble-shooting skills to help fix their hardware, too.

This morning I have completed my lessons with Rick for Word Press. I’m ao excited to get started applying everything I learned with Rick. Can’t say enough about Rick and his teaching methods. Truly patient and his step by step teaching is excellent! Now when I view YouTube tutorials, I have an idea what is being spoken about! Was lost before Ricks classes. He goes above and beyond! Highly recommend! Thank you Rick!!
