    Hip Hop Lyricism & Performance Coaching, Creative Process Development

    As a Personal Coach, my goal is to listen to you, ask questions that help you learn about yourself and identify variables that are aiding and/or preventing you from taking steps towards the lifestyle you desire. I do my best to provide a personalized process for each human who comes to me for guidance, tailoring your experience in a way that is in-line with your preferred learning style, while always encouraging you to stretch beyond your comfort zone in the name of growth. My aim is to create a positive, trusting, and empowering environment where vulnerability is viewed as a major strength and you are able to ask yourself the questions necessary to clearly identify your strengths and weaknesses. Then, help you formulate a daily action plan, anchored by protective factors, that provides the necessary structure you need to be great. We will put a major focus on finding avenues for you to empower yourself to efficiently utilize your existing strengths, as well as formulate routines to work on areas where improvement is possible. I highly suggest purchasing lessons and scheduling a time for us to meet. During our first meeting, you can ask any questions you have directly over the phone or video meeting and determine if you believe we are a good fit. There is zero financial risk in this approach.     I am a Hip Hop Artist and Educator. My lessons are tailored to the goals and aspirations of each Student. We will collaborate on a plan, based on your purposes for seeking guidance. As a student, my lessons will give you tools that you'll be able to use daily for the rest of your life. I will teach you methods and help you build routines that if applied consistently will empower you as a lyricist, performer, recording artist, and anything else you decide to pursue. I will help you to position your craft as a protective factor for your mental health. (how you think, act, and feel) I will put you in situations that will teach you how valuable your story is...which will empower you as a songwriter. I will help you to find the time necessary to reach your goals. This will be one of the most important aspects of our collaboration. These lessons will build your self-confidence and help you get to know yourself. I apply rules of discipline, dedication and determination learned as a Division 1 College Basketball Player. I share strategies from my own creative process and things I've learned teaching others. I listen to the needs of each Student. Your goals, current habits, preferred learning styles, fears, and history will all impact the way I guide you on your path as an Artist. I have performed in pretty much every imaginable environment and will use that experience to help you to develop the routines necessary to exceed your potential as a performer.

    The way I write, perform and in general think has conformationally changed with Rick. I haven't been the best student as I felt the continuity weekly really helped. He gets to know you as a person and not a number. Rick is genuinely interested your best interest and it shows by his actions.

Curating a weekly radio hour gives me the opportunity to empower creators by showcasing their music, exposing them to listeners that love Hip Hop. I love collaborating with community media entities in Michigan and Washington to create a platform that connects Musicians with humans who are hungry for good music and looking for Artists to support. Although it's not guaranteed, my radio show is definitely an outlet for my student's art to gain radio airplay, when they're ready.
