I'm a successful classical guitarist studying at Peabody Conservatory pursuing a Master's of Music in Classical Guitar Performance. With professional gigging experience in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, I know I can help you achieve your musical dreams, whether you just want to play your favorite songs in your bedroom, impress your friends and family, or jam in a band. After 7+ years of playing and classical instruction, I'm prepared to help you either in beginning your journey into music or continuing what you've begun. *** Lesson Details *** I'm generally very laid-back when in comes to lessons, and I strongly encourage all prospective students to bring in music that they want to play so that we can work on it together. After all, its no fun to actually play music if you're not playing what you want to really play. For classical students, we will use the Aaron Shearer method books. Taking lessons with me will help strengthen your musical technique as well as establish a good base and good habits to take along with you as you continue playing into the future. *** Studio Equipment *** Bedroom Studio, seating *** Travel Equipment *** I will provide books and exercises, and I expect my student to provide his own instrument. *** Specialties *** I have 7+ years classical guitar experience, as well as have some experience with flamenco and pop/rock styles.
