I have been tutoring students for over twenty years. Before an actual lesson takes place, I find it important to talk to the student. Find out his concerns, what are his strong points and his weak ones. I want to know. what are his current ways of learning. The maxim: one size fits all is limiting and rigid. My teaching strengths are grammar, vocabulary, and writing. I am a professional creative writer in film scripts and directing. I have taught students of all ages as well as from different countries. As a teacher of ESL it is extreamly important to have the students learn by reading and then conversation. I have taught students from middle school to PHDs from university.
