I am a professional guitarist, vocalist, composer and teacher with a worldwide fan base. I graduated from James Madison University with Bachelor's of Music Industry degree. I specialize in Flamenco guitar and teach students from all over the world ranging in ability from beginner to professional. Look me up online, see me playing and listen to my original music. I began my musical journey as the son of two professional classical guitarists. I started with electric guitar as a young fan of such players as Paul Gilbert and Nuno Bettencourt. In college, I was into Jazz and greatly influenced by Al Di Meola and John McLaughlin. They lead me to Flamenco maestro Paco de Lucia. I subsequently traveled to Spain and studied with the renowned Flamenco guitarist, Gerardo Nuñez. With my unique mastery of the guitar, technique, music theory, composition and improvisation, I feel that my students receive a rich and eclectic musical foundation. After teaching student for over 25 years, I have a lot of experience in guiding students to reach their highest potential. I encourage individuality and a positive learning environment. I am available to teach from my home studio just outside the Washington, DC area or via live online lessons. Some of the musical styles I regularly teach: Flamenco, Gypsy Rumba, Rock, Metal, Blues, Jazz, and Classical.
