Vinyl and Digital House/Hip Hop DJ w/ Over 33 Years of Experience

I have over 33 years of professional touring DJ experience, and have taught many people the art of DJ'ing. I can teach you how to mix/blend vinyl records and digital music at a very high level, show you a variety of techniques and tricks I've learned over the decades (eq, effects, cutting, drop mixing, layering, and much more), and can also help you create a setup to build a successful (and profitable) Twitch channel, for you to stream to, for not much money. I have a full music studio, including a complete DJ setup where I stream twice a week on my twitch channel (ricviera). My DJ gear consists of: (2) Technics 1200 MK7 turntables, (4) Denon SC5000 digital DJ media players, (1) Denon x1800 DJ mixer, (2) Active (powered) JBL 12" monitors, and (1) Active JBL 18" sub/bass bin. I can teach on any equipment and/or software you may have, or can teach you on my equipment, if you don't have any yet.

    About Ricardo V.

Ric V. was born in Los Angeles, and raised in Pasadena, where he began DJ'ing during hip hop's golden era, in 1989. In 1998, his good friend took him to an underground party, where Doc Martin & DJ Pierre were playing House Music. That night was transformative for Ric; he began attending other underground parties, and buying House records. In 2000, while touring as R&B singer, Jon B's DJ, Ric and Jon began producing House Music, and formed Guided Methods. They released records on Dufflebag and Compusol, before Jon stepped away. Bobby Valentine, Andrew Macari and Cory Wells joined Ric, and they continued releasing music for labels such as Beat Platter, Greenhouse, After School, Herbal Essence, Peaches, and others. In 2006, Ric released a remix collaboration with Hector Moralez on Robsoul, as well as solo tracks on Public Access and Minority Music, before stepping away from music to start a family. Ric and Cory reunited in 2020 to release the first Guided Methods track in 14 years, on Robsoul Recordings. Ric has stayed busy producing new music, and DJing on his Twitch channel, as well as live gigs all over.
