I teach music composition-arranging-orchestration-songwriting (music), music tech. (production), theory and all related subjects. I have taught at 4 colleges (California & Texas). Masters (MM Composition). I have also done many guest composer appearances at colleges & universities around the country. Tutored theory-composition students from Berklee College of Music. As a professional writer, I have extensive credits including: The London Symphony Orchestra, Fort Worth Symphony, The Vatican, Plano & Irving Symphony, many recording orchestras and other ensembles in LA, Nashville and other. My recordings have charted radio, been used in television. Awards for television scores. Hundreds of published pieces in printed music (J.W. Pepper, Sheet Music Plus, other). I have extensive technology (Finale 25.5/DAW(s)/GPO 5/Loops) that I use in production - I know technology well and have taught it at colleges / universities. I have written literally over 1 thousand pieces of music in just about all genres and ensembles (and can demonstrate that). I have taught online worldwide for about 7 years. Recent students have included composers from the Transformer Movies (orchestration). Studied composition & related subjects with Dr. Albert Harris, John Shaffer Smith and many others. I am not a purely "academic" oriented musician. Most of my work has been in the music industry, but (as shown above), I have also worked a lot in academia and know that world well to council students if they are involved in higher education.
