I have 16 years experience playing Bass and Saxophone; in orchestral and marching band, on several worship teams, and for the past 8 years with a professional touring band. My professional experience has given me the opportunity to share the stage with Hot Chelle Rae (RCA), Parachute (Mercury Records), Minus The Bear (Dangerbird Records), and Automatic Love Letter (Epic). I have a love for all forms of music and have enjoyed the many years so far of helping students of all ages expand their skills in their favorite music styles. *** Lesson Details *** In my lessons I like to mix the technical side of music with the fun side of music. In most lessons I like to spend a portion of the time on learning the how and why (scales/chords/modes/music theory) and the rest learning songs and styles the student enjoys where they can apply the new skills and knowledge. There should always be a balance of learning what you enjoy and learning what you need to know to be a proficient musician on your own.
