I grew up in California, lived many years in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Honolulu. I will be working with you to master the sounds and rhythms of American English; not because it is “better” but because that is the English I speak natively. I have a masters in Educational Psychology, a TEFL Certificate from Cambridge University, and am certified as a Level 1 instructor in the revolutionary “Color Vowels” approach to speaking--developed by Karen Taylor and Shirley Thompson--a powerful method for mastering the sounds and rhythms of English.
