Theory - Knowledge of music. Key, Harmony, Analysis, Critical Thinking.
Performance - Recitals, Recital etiquette, Stage presence, combating nerves.
Ear Training - Critical listening, Musicianship
CM (Optional) - Annual Certificate of Merit festival, which tests Theory, Technique, Ear Training, and Performance.

My students and their parents have called me a fun, patient, and thoughtful teacher.
I have been teaching piano since 2007 in a plethora of settings, including private teaching, studio teaching, tutoring, and coaching.
My piano studies began at age 9 and continued onto university, where I received a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music from CSULB in Piano performance.
My other musical work history ncludes being a choir director at church and as freelance accompanist, particularly for CSULB students with a focus on string repertoire as well as for festivals such as CM, SYMF, Satori, to name a few
I am a member of the Music Teacher's Association of California and currently work as an Assistant Director of an Irvine Music School.
My hobbies outside of music include driving, trying new restaurants, and a little milk tea here and there.
Providing accompaniment on church services at an on-call basis.
Providing accompaniment for, primarily for CSULB students in lessons, forums, juries, masterclasses, recordings, recitals, and competitions.
Teaching students under the MTAC Certificate of Merit rubric.
Directing the 9:45AM Harmony Choir and occasional piano accompaniment.
