Mr. Rene Ren-Jian Wu (吴人健) Born to a famous musician’s family, Mr. Wu learned the Erhu (二胡) a Chinese string instrument at very youthful age, After graduating from the Conservatory of Music inBeijing, Mr. Wu was the principal and solo Eahu performer of the Beijing Dace Academy Orchestra. Since
coming to the USA in 1980, Mr. Wu has taught at University of California in San Francisco; A guest artist for the Bing Concert performance at Los Angeles County Museum of Art, which invited by Tsuen-yuen Lu- Director of Chinese Music Dept. of UCLA; A solo Erhu performance on Center for World of Music’s
concert; and Solo performance on Laney College’s concert. Mr. wu is Erhu soloist of the Los Angeles Chinese Music Association and the San Francisco Chinese Orchestra. Erhu soloist and member of
Elizabeth Waldo Pan Asia Ensemble; and royal member for Spring Thunder Chinese Music Group (春雷国乐社) Currently， Mr。Wu is Erhu Solist and First ErHu Player at SOCALCMA (Southern California Chinese Music
Association).
