Renato M. is a talented and experienced Drummer/Producer. He graduated from Berklee College of Music with a major in Contemporary Writing and Production. Prior to Graduating Berklee, Renato graduated from La Universita della Musica in Rome as a drums performance major. After graduating, Renato started his music career in Italy as independent drummer working with the top notches musicians in the Italian jazz scene. As drummer he worked as s sessionist in more than 50 albums in Europe and USA. Once in the United States he received a scholarship and recognition as “Best Producer in 2009” at Berklee. He collaborated in the production of CDs released by Compass Production for “Target” with Adi Yeshaya and Michale Becker (Arrangers for Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston) and produced various new artists from different parts of the world. Recently, Renato co-produced and was sound engineer for Whitney Houston’s new Nothing But Love 2010 World Tour intro. *** Lesson Details *** Let's have fun and at the same time through the music learn the fundamentals of drumming: Tempo,Technique, Independence, Styles, Improvisation. *** Studio Equipment *** I have a fully equipped and functional recording studio with all you need for a drums recording session.I have a Drum booth and all the mics. *** Travel Equipment *** I prefer have lesson at my studio, but if i have to I can reach you with my transportation.The drumset is not included...I prefer you have your own so you can practice *** Specialties *** Even though i can cover mostly everything you need to know to be a good drummer, from the rudiments to the independence, I like to focus on precision and I really like the metronome as tool to achieve that...But I do that without forgetting about music.
