Country Guitar with Remi M.

I am a professional guitarist based out of the San Francisco Bay Area, while I am finishing my studies at the California Jazz Conservatory. I have played in gigging bands all over the west coast ranging from pop, country, rock, blues, funk, and jazz. My primary teaching experience was doing one-on-one guitar lessons with Guitar Center, where I taught students of all skill levels and ages, before I took an opportunity to play in a touring band. I was brought up with the sensibility that music is fun and my earliest music instructors reinforced this idea which cultivated a genuine love for music. My hope is to spread that joy to others. From beginners to advanced players and young kids to adults, I feel the best way to learn is through the music you enjoy. Beginners will focus on songs that help them work on fundamentals of the instruments. Intermediate players will work on material that challenges their abilities on the instrument and will help create good technique. Advanced players will focus on creating their own voice on the instrument and learn advanced music theory concepts to achieve total control over the instrument.
