I have spent significant time in the last 5 years tutoring students of all ages in their STEM courses. I have worked for businesses that have connected me with students on a fixed schedule, and I have worked privately, communicating directly with the students (or parents) for scheduling. Unless absolutely necessary, I prefer the students not use a calculator. It quickly becomes a crutch that reduces a students' ability to check his/her work.

My background in theoretical physics and experience in engineering projects allows me to speak knowledgeably about how schoolwork is used in real life. My passion is presented clearly to students, encouraging them to show interest in subjects that are often disliked or stigmatized.
