My name is Reeve Johnson, and I've been playing music for over 12 years now! Over the years, I've played extensively around the Midwest and Nebraska with local acts including the 402 Band (winner of the 2018 Best of Lincoln award), The Grace Giebler Project (nominated for Best Folk Artist of 2019 at the Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards, featured artist at the 2019 Playing with Fire blues festival), and Isaiah Dominguez (nominated for Best Rock/Alternative Album of 2019 at the Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards). I've also collaborated with local songwriter Audrey Edris on her 2018 album "All the Bad Things," contributing piano and songwriting credits. I'm currently attending the University of Nebraska at Omaha, studying Jazz Performance and English. I maintain an active performing schedule in all genres, including playing almost every weekend at my home church, where I serve as a music director. My goal is to make every student into an incredible, well-rounded musician! I focus on making each student feel unique and welcome by adapting my teaching to the genres the student wants to play and the goals they have.
