Hello! Thanks for stopping by! I am a music therapist and music teacher based in the Atlanta-metro area. Music has always been a strong tool for self-expression and for connecting people, and that guides me in my teaching and therapy work. I love making music with people and helping them to make their own music as best as they can! My music education started with piano in elementary school and trombone in middle school. Piano was an irreplaceable tool for learning the theory and structure of music, and trombone allowed me to play in all kinds of groups and ensembles for many years. From symphony orchestras to big band jazz, from marching band to small groups, I've had the pleasure of playing with so many fantastic people! Picking up bass along the way gave me even more opportunities to make music with friends and groups. Now I play a little bit of everything, especially in my music therapy work.
