Improve vocal control & sing with authenticity: fun lessons from a Nashville trained voice coach

I've been teaching voice for 14 years and have studied many styles of voice for more than 20 years. My immediate focus is to help students sing freely without tension within the genre they are most passionate about, so they can truly see results in their singing right away. As their basic vocal technique begins to improve, we can then work on the nuances of improving style, control, and power in the voice. Singing is fun and we should all feel the freedom to enjoy using our voices!

Hey there! As a Vocal Coach and Performance Coach, I am thrilled to help my students find freedom to sing in their own style, while staying healthy with good technique. I specialize in working with beginner and intermediate Adults and Teens, teaching healthy technique, performance and confidence. Singing is a vulnerable thing, so it's very important for me to create a sense of safety for every student to feel comfortable enough to begin to explore their voice and self-expression. As a singer songwriter myself, I've battled with stage fright and know the frustrations it brings. That personal experience along with my work with abuse survivors, has given me a special sensitivity and understanding of the emotional needs of my students, enabling me to help them work through their roadblocks in life. I have studied under some fabulous coaches over the last 20 years, who have taught Taylor Swift, Justin Beiber, Natasha Bedingfield, Hayley Williams and more. All of this I bring to my students with passion and confidence, knowing that they can truly achieve their goals! Are you ready to get started on finding freedom in your voice? I'm here to help and am rooting for you! ~Ree

This was my first vocal lesson and I was nervous at first but Ree immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable! She has an inviting, upbeat, and reassuring energy that put me at ease and enabled me to get the most out of the time in session. I felt that Ree really listened to my goals and within just one lesson I was already starting to learn a lot about my voice. I definitely think her services are worth the value and I look forward to continuing my lessons with her (:

Ree is a very down to earth person and an amazing singer, even more so in person. I love the way she teaches, she knows what she is doing. I’m a very nervous person when it comes to singing, and she has techniques for relaxing and giving me my own space to be free and have fun. And through all of that she always stays professional.

    Vocal Coach/ Performance Coach

    Vocal Coach Ree

I love helping students become more aware of their voice and learn the tools they need to sing better and freely express themselves confidently! As an experienced singer songwriter and lead vocalist of several bands, I bring a lot of real world experience to my students. Having a diverse musical history ranging from pop, r&b, punk, emo, folk, indie, 80's soft rock, to big band, classical, musical theater, and black gospel, I am able to understand and teach students within the style that they feel most passionate about. Aside from being a performer and taking years of lessons myself, I am trained as a vocal coach and have a good understanding of healthy technique. I'm also connected to a network of other phenomenal teachers worldwide, where I learn about the newest findings in vocal science, as well as many new techniques/ information almost daily. Lessons with me will help you gain more awareness of your voice and increase your control and confidence, as you learn specific exercises tailored to your needs. My approach is holistic, addressing the singer as a whole, when diagnosing any challenges. Contact me today for a free consultation!
