Classical Piano with Rebekah B.

Hello! My name is Rebekah and I am currently studying music at University of Mary with a focus in piano. I have played piano since I was six years old, though I took some breaks to play violin and sports. I have had experience accompanying for my university's choir concerts, chamber ensembles, student recitals and juries, and churches, as well as being a rehearsal accompanist for our university production of Pirates of Penzance. I have taught students from very beginners to late intermediate, and I specialize in younger students. My students can expect to grow in their musical understanding through developing good technique, a basis in theory and history, and a focus on their own creative process. I primarily play classical music and will emphasize this in lessons, but chords, lead sheets, and pop styles can also be addressed. My other hobbies include playing percussion, hiking, and reading.
