Hello, and welcome to my TakeLessons home page! My name is Rebecca and I am so excited that you have decided to stop by.

I am a former band director and current elementary music teacher. Teaching elementary music affords me the time and flexibility to work on a personal dream of mine: to teach music privately to students!

I want to use all of my knowledge to help guide every student to their personal success. I specialize in working with woodwind players from beginning to advanced. If you're looking to start taking flute, clarinet, or oboe lessons to quickly improve, I am knowledgeable in the pedagogy. if you're looking for an extra boost before college auditions, I can help from not only personal experience of the audition process but extensive knowledge in the required repertoire for many universities. If you're looking for help in learning and long range goals for flute, oboe, or clarinet, I am more than happy to work with you at every step to achieve your goals!

As a public school teacher, I am afforded the training and knowledge on working with students with special needs. Please don't hesitate to contact me to see what I can do for you.

· Bass Clarinet · Online Rebecca was great. She didn't waste a lot of time, she got right down to business teaching... which I really appreciated. We were looking for help for something very specific and she was able to really help my son with exactly what he wanted help with. She was encouraging and kind.
She was very flexible with her time and working with us. And she was very knowledgeable about how to help him. Overall it was a great experience!
