My name is Ari and I am a full-time musician in the Hudson Valley who runs a lesson studio for music students in New Paltz! After my brief background, there are some recent career highlights below! Brief Background: I have been teaching music privately for nine years, four of which I worked within NYS public school districts as a music technician for both New England and nationwide competing bands. I have a small music studio in New Paltz but depending on your location, I can do an online lesson with you! I am comfortable working with people of all different backgrounds and learning styles. I also have experience working with children and adults who have developmental disabilities or different types of behavioral problems. Instruments I teach (not in order): clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, baritone, voice, songwriting, guitar, piano, music theory, and percussion. I am VERY familiar with NYSSMA, for those who have students who would like to participate or are planning on participating again this year.
