Singing with Rebecca S.

I have been teaching voice privately and in the university environment for over 20 years. Currently, I am the only teacher specializing in classical voice at the University of San Francisco, where I also teach music theory, music history, musicianship, and conduct the classical choirs. I am also a the conductor of Sacred and Profane Chamber Chorus in Oakland, CA. I have taught all ages and styles, and specialize in classical art song repertoire, operatic arias, musical theater, and the American song-book. I hold a DMA (Doctor of Musical Arts) from the University of Iowa in choral conducting (2002), an MA in conducting from UC Santa Cruz (1998), and a BA in voice with recital honors from UC Santa Cruz (1992).
