I started singing at a young age and have performed in choirs, bands, small ensembles, and solos in several genres; I also continue to perform weekly in a church band singing contemporary style songs, and in groups on specific occasions. I received my undergraduate degree in Music with Elective Studies in Business from the University of West Georgia, training primarily in voice for classical and musical theater, with a secondary in piano. Some noted student accomplishments include: receiving music scholarships, winning regional competitions, and landing lead roles in musicals. An additional fun musical fact: I also have experience in the music and entertainment industry with companies like Driven Entertainment Group, where I booked tours for bands, helped with conference production, and stage managed events.
