Rebecca is now available online lessons worldwide from her Chicago home studio! Rebecca has been playing violin for over 30 years and teaching music since 2002. News outlet Newsy even did a segment called “Dream Jobs” on her career and her advice for students wishing to have a career on the violin. Rebecca teaches all experience levels from beginner to intermediate and advanced as well as artists that are signed to labels. Although trained in traditional Western classical, Rebecca developed her own method of teaching to positively enhance the student€™s strength, dexterity, ear-training, memorization and techniques. Her goal as a teacher is specifically designed to help you achieve your goals as an artist and a musician. Artists Rebecca has performed with include the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Josh Groban, Evanescence, and Lindsey Stirling. She has recorded her own music in world-class studios, such as Chicago Recording Company and Gravity Studios. Her music has been played on radio stations such as Q101, KROQ, 97.9LUP, WIIL Rock, etc. She has played on such tours/festivals as Warped Tour, SXSW, Milwaukee Summerfest, CMJ, Taste of Chaos Tour. Rebecca attended the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign where she studied violin performance and psychology. She is constantly continuing his education with music theory courses as well as private violin instruction. Another nice feature that you might enjoy from one on one sessions with Rebecca is learning the ability to craft and record your own songs using state of the art technology that caters to your own unique personality. There are no limits! Rebecca’s students advance quickly and some have released albums, been in Guitar World Magazine, and won awards for their music. Lessons are scheduled to best fit to the student'€™s schedule when possible. Rebecca is a very patient instructor and understands that students learn at a different pace, after all everyone is an individual!

Awesome!!!!! I know I won’t find another teacher as good as her. I can now play music that I didn’t think I would ever be able to play.

I had never taken online lessons before, so was apprehensive. My experience with Rebecca exceeded my expectations. It was well worth the money to get to the bottom of my technique issues and get expert feedback on my playing. I highly recommend taking lessons with Rebecca!!!

Best teacher ever! Rebecca is not only knowledgeable, but able to explain things in a way that makes sense to me. I still can’t believe I’m able to study with someone like her. She knows classical and rock so well. I’ve learned so much!!!!
