Piano teaching is an art, and I've spent years refining it. My Bachelor's Degree in Music, Emphasis in Piano Pedagogy and Performance, have served me well in this refinement. I have taken piano lessons since I was 4 years old, and I have taught piano lessons for 11 years. I have performed in many venues through Utah and have now moved to San Diego and look forward to my "piano adventures" here. I am in *love* with playing the piano, teaching piano, hearing the piano played, and writing new music. My goals as a piano teacher include helping my student become an independent learner and individual, find the joy in learning an instrument and in life in general.

Becca was fantastic with my son (21) with autism. He was a little tricky to teach, but she was patient and persevered and reached him! He loved having her come over and they worked together to a level that he improved and she really became a favorite appointment for him. I truly cannot say enough about her, she was patient and kind, yet still expected him to meet goals and skills <3 I'm very sad she moved away!

Becca is an incredible piano teacher! She started teaching my daughter when my daughter was 4 (a few months shy of turning 5) and taught her for a little over a year before she moved out of state. She was so patient and so creative in teaching piano in a way that was fun for a 5 year old, and in ways that helped her retain what she was learning. I can't reccomend Becca enough, she is an amazing teacher!

Through 5-6 music classes each day, I had the opportunity to teach students how to play the piano, violin, cello, recorder, to sing, and helped them learn music theory. Group piano class of 50+ 3rd graders was a great place for me to use my piano teaching skills to teach individual students hand position, note reading, rhythm, and everything else involved in playing the piano.
