I am a composer, guitarist, and pianist from Fort Worth, TX with extensive and varied background as a teacher. I graduated from University of Texas at Arlington in 2016 with a Bachelor of Music Composition degree and received scholarships and awards for stellar academic performance during my university years. I have composed music in a wide variety of styles and instrumentations, including woodwinds, brass, guitar, strings, piano, voice, and even experimental electronica. During college, I played in a diverse range of groups, including jazz band, choir, and percussion ensemble.
I see beauty in many different genres of music and has an extremely varied taste. Whether it's the most serene piano literature or the most experimental avant-garde noise rock, I am likely to have explored it.
I currently teach around 30 students of all ages and skill levels piano and guitar through a music studio located in Fort Worth as well as in-home lessons around the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. I foster my students' love of music regardless of where their interests lie. Whether you want to learn your favorite pop songs, study classical piano, explore compositional techniques and music theory, or anything in between, I am eager to help my students realize their musical potential!
SCI is an independent organization concerned with the fellowship, collaboration, career goals, and objectives of new and contemporary music composers and those interested in topics related to composition.
