UMMARY Teaching is about having passion with expertise in preschool curriculum development, classroom management and relationship building. Teacher's are to be focused on being a good role model towards pupils by exhibiting and reinforcing positive behavior. For this environment, you should be easily approachable by the staff and students alike. With my experience, I feel it has helped me as a professional on how to approach matters and be able to solve any arising situations. I am dedicated to commit to a career in teaching, as I am very confident in working in this field. As for teaching, it is about having this sense of duty to your students but also maintaining a mutual relationship with your staff in order to co-operate properly and I feel that I can certainly provide this. Moreover, I feel that it is upon the teacher’s duty to meet each individual’s unique needs. Being attentive to the emotional, intellectual and social needs for each student; for this, I have worked with students who have learning disability and for them it is easy to lose concentration and comprehend what is being taught. So a staff assistant should be then be provided for this individual to help him understand what the teacher is explaining. This is done with one to one with the staff assistant in the corner of class, to avoid the class discussions etc.I like a bit of challenge here and there, without this experience in my past work placement, I may have needed more time to adjust to settings but I sense I can smoothly fit in.
