I am a freelance classical singer, voice and piano teacher in the Houston area with over ten years of music education experience. My teaching style prioritizes healthy technique, expressiveness, and musicianship. I have two degrees specifically in teaching singing, and I also have over five years of experience teaching beginner to immediate piano. I've taught students ranging from pre-K through adult levels how to achieve their own personal musical goals, including acceptance into the Texas All-State Choirs (District through State levels). I also have four years of experience tutoring SAT and ACT prep with Kaplan, a nationally renowned test prep organization. Several of my students achieved their score goals, some of which were over 30. Ultimately, I am all about finding the most effective teaching methods to help students achieve their goals while having fun doing so!
