Singing with Rae A.

Hi! My name is Rae and I've been teaching professionally since moving to Chicago in 2012. I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Professional Music, focusing on Music Education and Performance. For the last two years, I've been teaching drums, piano, and voice at School of Rock in Chicago. I've played and sang in bands that have toured North America and Europe, and I have a lot of advice for musicians looking to take their act on the road or take it to a more professional level. I want to make music fun and engaging for my students, and whatever styles you're looking to play/sing, I'm here to make that happen! If you have a double bass pedal, let's get heavy. I play a lot of metal and can teach you how to blast, as well as how to play technical/progressive polyrhythms. Most of my teaching experience is with children and teens, but I have several adult students and enjoy coming up with specialized goals and curriculum for everyone working with me.
