Hi there! My name is Rachel, and I teach violin. I have been playing the violin for 18 years, since the age of 6. I have been teaching the violin for 5 years now. I have a bachelor's degree in violin performance from the Moore's School of Music at the University of Houston in Houston Texas. I currently work and live in New York City as a freelance violinist and teacher. I am passionate about helping students meet their individual goals. I am comfortable with teaching many different musical styles including classical, rock, pop, jazz, country, and bluegrass. I have worked with students of all ages and am comfortable teaching both children and adults!
