Harp with Rachel R.

I studied harp at Sam Houston State University from 2009-2015 where I received my bachelor and master degrees in instrumental performance. During that time, I was able to tour Puerto Rico as principal harpist of the SHSU orchestra as well as perform in a variety of recitals including chamber, solo, and in concerts with large ensembles. I have performed with the Laredo Symphony and am frequently hired by the SHSU Wind Ensemble and Concert Band. I have been given many opportunities to perform and delight in sharing music whether I play in a concert hall or in a dark corner creating an easy-going atmosphere. Having experience as a performer, I relish teaching and "passing the torch" to fellow harpists - beginning, advanced, or somewhere in between.
