I've been playing the piano for almost 30 years. It helps to give me a creative outlet. While completing my Associates degree, I took several music related courses and would love to share my knowledge with my new students. Classes will go over note reading, scales, theory, and lots of practice.
Played for the children's choir with much success in helping them sing and perform for the congregation.
Rachel's really patient and allows you to move at your own pace; you get what you put in. I like how she explains everything till you understand and adjusts her teaching style based on your needs.
I highly recommend Rachel as a teacher! She communicates clearly with the parents and students and she clearly has a passion for this! My son has learned more in just a few lessons with her than he had after months with his old teacher. Rachel is amazing! :D+ Read More
She was great!
Got tuned so nicely!
so glad I finally started taking lessons.....
What fun this is...."finally" at age 72 I'm taking piano lessons....I was very nervous but since I realized Rachel wasn't going to smack my hand with a ruler if I made a mistake, I'm ok. All kidding aside, Rachel's fantastic and I'm thoroughly receiving the benefit of her knowledge in a very gratifying way. She's the best.
Piano is Fun
Rachel is very nice and encouraging. She knows a lot about piano. When I told her my favorite song she found a version of the sheet music that I could learn. I like Rachel because she is a kind and smart teacher.
